  Recently used them for our car service and MOT. They found a few faults including one major replacement of battery (battery had been replaced by AA last year and was under warranty period). They called up to say all these factors will lead to a failed MOT so should get these repairs asap and quoted a high amount for it. Fortunately, my husband didn't succumb to their pressure and decided not to go ahead with the repairs stated that day itself. Lo and behold, the car still passed the MOT! After a few days, called the AA guys to replace the battery as it was under their warranty and they said nothing was wrong with the battery at all and was still getting perfectly charged! Wouldn't use this branch again as they just want to rip off people with false claims for repairs.

  Left in tears because of the way that I was spoken to. Yesterday, I took my car into Kwik Fit Surbiton as I had something that had come loose on the bottom on my car. The receptionist told me that he didn’t have any bays free but to bring it back the following day at 2.30pm so that someone could have a quick look at it. I was nervous that something was seriously wrong with my car so I had arranged childcare for my son so that he didn’t have to do the journey back to Kwik Fit. I turned up the following day at 2.30pm and booked in my car. The receptionist, different to the one on the previous day told me I’d have to leave it there for an hour. I explained that I only had half an hour of childcare left so would it be possible to just have a quick look. The receptionist was exceptionally rude and sarcastic with a reply of, well no it needs to be left an hour so there’s nothing I can do. Now, I understand that if it’s policy to be left an hour then that’s fine. However, the unhelpful and sarcastic tone of the receptionist just wasn’t needed. It left me so upset. In conclusion, on way to pick my son up, I took my car into a local garage who within 2 mins told me I needed a new oil filter. I am a repeat customer of Kwik Fit Surbiton but will never be using this garage again and advise no one else to.

  Went to Kwikfit for a service, only to be told we needed 2 new tires and some other things done to the car. Have taken it to a much better local garage and it passed it's MOT with flying colours - definitely avoid Kwikfit and use your local!
